Join members of the Kingsbury Time Travellers group as they tell us about the withy business around Kingsbury Episcopi. They will show a silent film called The Willow Story. Made about 70 years ago, the film is an important piece of the more recent history of the Somerset Levels. It helps to illustrate the withy cycle from planting a new bed, to harvesting and production for sale. It was made over a period of 3 years.
Talks are free to members. Non-members are very welcome, £4 per person.
