Along with the other counties which make up the south west peninsula, Somerset has a temperate maritime climate. Langport rarely experiences extremes of weather although the impact of climate change is never far from our minds.
For day to day weather, a very reliable source is the Meteorological Office located at RNAS Yeovilton which is only nine miles away.
