Looking for something new and different to try? Then come and join our relaxed and friendly class at Great Bow Wharf with Bev and learn the gentle arts of Tai Chi and Qi gong. The class is suitable for both beginners and those who have some experience. All classes begin with a short warm up routine incorporating gentle stretches followed by a Qigong sequence. Following a short break, the class turns it attention to Tai Chi. Here you will learn its solid foundations such as posture, leg stances, stepping and various hand and foot techniques which make up the various Tai Chi forms – perhaps you may have already experienced simple Tai Chi which is likely to have Qi Gung based movements in an exercise class. However the Tai Chi that you will learn here is more in depth, focussed and true to the art of Tai Chi which will allow you to fully explore the benefits it brings to your life.
Bev has been practitioner of Tai Chi for over 20 years and after attaining the necessary gradings, a qualified teacher for 15 years. Bev is also qualified and registered as an Intermediate Instructor (I) with the Tai Chi Union of Great Britain (TCUGB).
